Meet Dr Nick Collis

Mr Nick Collis is a highly experienced Consultant Plastic Surgeon with over 30 years of surgical practice.
Based in the North East since 2004, he is known for his meticulous approach, excellent patient care, and commitment to achieving natural, refined results.

Mr Collis offers a comprehensive range of cosmetic and reconstructive procedures, with specialist interests in aesthetic genital surgery, body contouring, breast surgery, eyelid rejuvenation, facelifts, liposuction, and male breast reduction (gynaecomastia).
He also has extensive experience in the treatment of scars, keloids, and prominent ears.

Combining surgical precision with honesty and empathy, Mr Collis ensures each patient receives clear guidance and exceptional results tailored to their individual needs.

Education & Training

1985-1991: Studied Medicine at Leeds University, graduating with degrees in MPhil, BSc (Hons), and MBChB.

1991-1992: Completed junior doctor training at St James’s University Hospital, Leeds.

1992-1995: Undertook general surgical training within the Staffordshire Hospitals Trust.

1995-2004: Specialised in Plastic Surgery, training in the Yorkshire region, including posts at Bradford Royal Infirmary, Pinderfields Hospital, and St James’s University Hospital.

In 2004, Mr Collis was appointed as a Consultant Plastic Surgeon and relocated to Newcastle upon Tyne with his wife and two young children.

Current Practice

Mr Collis has lived and worked in the North East for over 20 years.
He currently holds a full-time consultant post at the Royal Victoria Infirmary and sees private patients at Nuffield Health Newcastle upon Tyne Hospital, where he carries out consultations on Monday evenings and Wednesday afternoons.
